With the launch of the Xbox Console in November of 2001, Halo: Combat Evolved created a revelation for the gaming community around the world. Halo Combat Evolved was such a
success because It implemented an entertaining and interesting story line along with an intense Multiplayer. Unfortunately, Xbox Live was established a year after Halo's debut,
although it still housed an enjoyable time for everyone who played Multiplayer on the same TV or in System Link.
Halo Combat Evolved starts in the deep of space with a ship known as the "Pillar of Autumn" outrunning a Covenant fleet. You as the player get to endeavor this Covenant fleet
by playing as the illustrious Master Chief, a Cybernetic soldier with two goals in mind: Destroy the Covenant, and save humanity. Halo is a very pleasing game, especially when
you throw a plasma grenade at a grotesque looking alien. Throughout the campaign, you overcome many obstacles and have the pleasure in driving some futuristic vehicles that
include tanks and hummers.
When campaign becomes too much for you, and you switch over to Multiplayer, you realize your in for the same amount of action. The weapons and vehicles you use in campaign are
all implemented into multiplayer for a grand experience. The maps are widely large and allow explosive 16 player games!
Aside the wonderful campaign, multiplayer, weapons, vehicles, and effects, Halo is a very enjoyable game.
